And the Oscar goes to...

The 85th Academy Awards ceremony is just behind us. All the emotions (if any of them came out at all) felt down. In comparison with last year's unexpected success of The Artist, this time there were no major surprises.

Let’s see… In total five Oscars for Argo and Lincoln. Yeah, these propaganda films had to win something. If not, it would be scandalous, wouldn’t it? ;)

Four awards went to Life of Pi and I think it deserved them. It’s a pretty nice, light story full of colours, original music and great special effects, proper to a 3D movie.

Personally, I was really happy seeing Quentin Tarantino got the award for Best Original Screenplay. I love his productions and I must admit that Django Unchained didn’t disappoint me. So, if you like this specific director too and if you haven’t seen his most recent work yet, I strongly recommend you to do it as soon as possible.

Of course, writing about Django I should mention Christoph Waltz winning the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. This guy is amazing, it was his second nomination and he received the second award! In Inglourious Basterds showed his mastery, in Django kept the same quality.

Here’s a video with funny reaction to Waltz’s Oscar:

Well, welcome to my blog. I’ll publish here things which comes to my mind. I hope you’ll enjoy them. ;) All right, today I won’t write nothing more because I’m worried about the upcoming match of my team…
